• Following a thorough assessment of each patient’s lifestyle and dietary habits, our dietitians design customized menus based on their health condition and food preferences
• Dietitians provide simple recipes and teach patients how to prepare healthy and tasty meals
• Dietitians also offer information on takeout food, groceries, and nutritious snacks so that patients may stay healthy and happy whether they are at home or out
• At every appointment with the dietitian, menus are adjusted based on the patient’s progress and health report to ensure a rich and varied diet

Exercise Recommendations

• A balanced diet combined with adequate exercise can help patients maintain a healthy weight, manage the “three highs”, improve cardiopulmonary function, and more effectively prevent chronic illness
• Dietitians teach simple exercises that patients can practice at home

Flexible Appointments

• Dietitians are able to arrange meetings at times that suit their patients’ schedules, or even meet remotely via Whatsapp or Zoom

Nutrition Counseling
Dietitians conduct an initial, comprehensive nutritional assessment which includes body composition testing. Depending on the patient’s needs, weekly or biweekly meetings of 30 minutes each are arranged, during which the menu is reviewed, questions are answered, and the patient’s diet is adjusted depending on his/her progress and health condition.

Dietary Guidance and Nutrition Education
Dietitians provide dietary guidance and nutrition education to patients or clients in need, such as:

• Cancer patients
• Patients with chronic disease (such as heart disease, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, gout, duodenal ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, etc.)
• Pregnant women
• Postnatal or breastfeeding women

Our dietitians partner with Adventist chefs to customize nutritious meal plans for our patients.

During your first visit, the dietitian will thoroughly analyze your health condition and dietary habits. You may wish to keep a food diary of what you eat and drink over the two or three days prior to your first visit, and bring along your health assessment reports to facilitate discussions and target-setting with the dietitian.
