Adults aged 50 or over are suitable for vaccination.

Aged 18 or above will be the high-risk individuals, including:

• COVID-19 positive individuals
• Diabetes
• Rheumatoid Arthritis
• Chronic kidney disease
• Family history of shingles
• Immunocompromised
• Asthma/ chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• Cardiovascular disease

✔️ The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends the new generation shingles vaccine as the preferred vaccine for shingles prevention

✔️ Recent studies show that shingles vaccine efficacy remains at 87.7% after 11 years

✔️ A shingles vaccine with over 90% efficacy
