The HKAH–SR is proud to be the first private hospital in Hong Kong to establish its own Arrhythmia Center / Electrophysiology Laboratory. This state-of-the-art center provides a comprehensive range of advanced treatments, including electrophysiology tests, catheter ablation, and various implantable therapies such as pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICD), and cardiac resynchronization therapy. In addition, we offer Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA), a quick and safe method for effectively treating arrhythmia.

Provides a wide range of cardiac tests 24 hours a day, such as electrocardiograms (ECG), blood pressure monitoring, treadmill stress ECG, tilt table tests, vascular physiology tests, etc.

In 2018, the Hospital established a new Hybrid Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Operating Room equipped with a biplane imaging system capable of serving diagnostic, interventional, and surgical functions, improving timeliness of treatment and minimizing surgical risk that meets European operating room standards.

The new biplane DSA system from Siemens (Artis Q with PURE VD20) will offer Doctors enhanced visualization and precision while providing additional advantages such as:

• Excellent image quality with minimal radiation exposure;
• Flexible positioning;
• Powerful image-guided applications; and
• Improved patient comfort and user experience. Patients will also benefit from quicker recoveries, less complications, and better long-term outcomes.
